Rale Micic featured in Jazz Guitar Today

Jazz Guitar Today has published a new feature interview with guitarist Rale Micic: “Rale Micic: Serbian Jazz Guitarists Now in New York,” by contributor Joe Barth.

The interview traces Micic’s path from Belgrade — where he switched from violin to guitar at 14 and discovered jazz at 17 — through his Berklee College of Music scholarship years to his move to New York City in 2000.

He also names the three jazz guitar albums that most shaped his sound and approach, including Jim Hall Live! and Pat Metheny’s Question and Answer.
